Electrical engineering and project coordination of a 5-MW photovoltaic system.  The first of its kind, the system combined five 1-MW arrays of different technologies and was designed primarily as a testing and educational installation.  The completed system allowed the college to generate approximately 100% of its daytime electricity needs by harnessing Yuma’s climatologically unique features.
