Yuma School District One’s newest elementary campus opened in August for the start of the 2019-2020 school year.  This campus consists of (3) buildings: Administration, Multi-Purpose/Cafeteria, and Classroom, totaling approximately 50,000sf.  The classrooms for grades K-5 are based on new innovative teaching practices with flexible learning spaces.  The Multi-Purpose/Cafeteria space features open ceilings with exposed structure and visible building systems routed through the truss system.  Sternco provided Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Sprinkler Engineering as well as Building Commissioning and assistance with APS rebates for this new campus.
